Junior Chefs Academy – Australia and UK

This is a 3 Day programme that coaches young people towards better performance by developing and improving their culinary skills.
It’s no ordinary cooking course but one that packs the day full of practical tasks and gets the participants to focus and push the boundaries of what they can do.
It is delivered by qualified foodies with backgrounds of working with people of all ages and differences as well as inspired by Rob Rees MBE DL.
Importantly it’s great fun, helps develop a young person’s emotional resilience and inspires participants to love food.
From learning to gut and prepare fresh squid to making Pate a Sucre for Pear and Frangipane tarts there is something for all with each ingredient carefully sourced and purchased. (Content depends on seasonality and we reserve the right to amend).

Day 3 also has an integrated Academy Masterchef “cook off” where participants are able to showcase their talents. We ask that participants send us an ingredient list following the provision of a budget by their first day’s attendance so that we can secure their purchase ready for the exciting cook off challenge.
Enrolment is for young people aged 11 to 18 years of age. No more than 6 participants take part at any one time. Each day operates from 930 am till 330pm with participants preparing their own wholesome lunches. All participants must have covered toes and sensible shoes as well as practical clothing for wearing in a kitchen. We recommend investing in a Chefs jacket and blue and white apron to take part but not compulsory. (We are happy to advise on suppliers).
Prices start at £335 GBP or $700 AUS for 3 full days culinary coaching with sibling and group discounts applicable.
Course bookings for Melbourne Australia and Gloucestershire UK can be made via our Eventbrite links below:
